I attended Bridgewater State University, where I received my bachelor's degree in Physics and minored in Mathematics. While working toward my undergraduate degree, I taught a class called Freshman Skills, which is a requirement for new students needing to refresh their skills and knowledge in Algebra 1 and 2. The class is meant to help students prepare for more advanced coursework in Mathematics. While teaching this course, I became skilled at teaching students of varying ages, skills, and expertise in the area of math. Organization and good planning were essential to my success as a teacher of Freshman Skills. In addition to this course, I'm experienced in teaching Calculus (1, 2, 3, Advanced Placement), Differential Equations, Geometry, Arithmetic, Physics, and other Sciences. I'm also able to teach Elementary and Middle School Mathematics. It's important to be accessible to students outside of class, which is something I always try to do. Becoming familiar with each student made day-to-day teaching rewarding and easy. I enjoy being able to see students' academic progress, especially when it comes to understanding the ins and outs of a subject. I currently live in Bridgewater, MA. Outside of academics and mathematics, I enjoy spending time in nature and Netflix.
